Please call back

With the "Please call back" service, a mobile user can send a notification to another user asking to be called back.

The request is simply sent by a USSD code including the phone number of the other party, for instance: < #12*902348032# >. The receiving party receives a SMS with a message < Please call back back on "987654321">.

This service could be very useful for prepaid customers out of credit. Various ways of controlling the usage of "Please call back" are possible, including limiting the number of requests per user per day.

Optionally, each user can enter its personalized message from a USSD menu, e.g. < Hi, it's Ravi. Could you please call back on "987654321". Thanks! ; - ) >

Value added services for roamers

For outbound roamers

Provide your outbound roamers with a true Virtual Home Environment (VHE) wherever they roam, attracting high profile subscribers to your network. Requiring no additional work, USSD based interactive services are available on any network. Speak makes them a reality while roaming: travel information, location-based weather, news, etc. Subscribers can even access their emails (send and receive) from anywhere in the world!

For inbound roamers

The GSM standard defines a specific range of USSD service codes for VPLMN applications. You can offer exclusive services (tourist guide, local news, useful numbers…) to inbound roamers and draw them to your network.
